Please note that these have been discounted as they have entered their winter dormancy period. Being deciduous, the leaves have now fallen off and they have produced new buds that will form the new growth for the coming season of vegetative growth.
Due to the onset of wet Autumn conditions, the leaves of the Amethyst hydrangeas have developed some seasonal blemishes. This is normal for Autumn/winter conditions when hydrangea leaves turn off-color due to their deciduous growth habit. Some customers who have never grown hydrangeas become alarmed and report various spots and discolorations they observe on the foliage. I reassure customers that this is normal.

Hydrangeas vary in color depending on the pH of the soil.
